MRCB's subsidiary, TTSB, through its joint-venture
partner, Sharikat Permodalan Kebangsaan Berhad (SPK) has been awarded
a contract to undertake the construction of Sabah East West Grid
Interconnection Project, valued at RM400 million. This includes
the construction of 272km of 275kV, 4km of 132kV transmission lines,
2 new 275kV substations and extensions to two existing substations
in Sabah. This project was awarded by Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd
(SESB) a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
Key features of this project include:

at Kasigui and Segaluid will be constructed. Two extension in
existing substations at Penampang (132kV) and Dam Road (132kV).
