The Division Portfolio

Building Services Division which was established in March 2005 comprises of three subsidiaries, namely Semasa Sentral Sdn. Bhd., Semasa Services Sdn. Bhd. and Semasa Security Sdn. Bhd.  The Division is a service alliance that provides total integrated facilities management services, leveraging on the Group’s proven track record.  Going forward, the Division will continue to focus on the development of long-term contracts that generate revenue for the Group by pursuing opportunities in building maintenance and other related sectors.

Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur

Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur is the nucleus of the country’s rail transportation system, bridging the most modern rapid train services. As a rail transportation hub, Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur is easily accessible due to the ready availability of many rail services, namely Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), Intercity, Komuter, Rangkaian Aliran Perkhidmatan Integrasi Deras (RAPID) LRT, Express Rail Link Sdn. Bhd. (ERL), ERL Ekspress, ERL Transit and the monorail which runs from Brickfields to Titiwangsa.  In addition, taxis and buses also ply this area which is in close proximity to the city’s central business district.

Semasa Sentral Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MRCB manages and maintains the Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur. As a station manager and ISO 9001 certified company, Semasa Sentral Sdn. Bhd. is committed to be a world class transportation hub management company that continually exceeds the needs and expectation of customers and stakeholders through consistent implementation of best practices.

Aggressive marketing efforts conducted in 2005 have resulted in Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur achieving a 100% occupancy rate. Semasa Sentral Sdn. Bhd. will continue to pursue its marketing activities to create greater awareness on the retail activities at Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur

Semasa Services Sdn. Bhd.

Semasa Services has maintained a strong foothold in the operations, maintenance and management of building facilities for commercial, government, industrial and high-rise office buildings. This is due to its highly competent staff, mechanical & electrical engineering and management expertise, proven facilities management system, advanced technologies and large pool of well-trained technical personnel.

Semasa Services is responsible for the maintenance of all MRCB properties and the Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur. Semasa Services was also appointed by Maybank Berhad to provide building and facilities management services to Dataran Maybank at Bangsar Utama.

With more than 60 excellence-driven technical and management workforce, Semasa Services has effectively mobilize its resources in ensuring its clients’ buildings are efficiently managed from its pool of experts in air-conditioning, fire fighting, electrical, building automation system, asset management, safety & health, cleaning, hygiene and administrative services.

Given the constraints of having to operate in a highly competitive environment, plans are in place  to establish joint ventures and strategic alliances to tap increasing opportunities in the building maintenance and services industry as well as to enhance the Company’s competitiveness to bid for open tenders.

Semasa Services has implemented a Quality Management System that encompasses quality standards of visual control method, systematic maintenance records and safety procedures and has been ISO certified on 31 March 2006.



Semasa Security Sdn. Bhd.


Semasa Security Sdn. Bhd. specializes in all aspects of security, including deployment of security officers, monitoring, crisis management, planning and training and security advice. 

Semasa Security was given approval by the Ministry of Home Affairs to operate as a security company, providing its customers with security expertise. Potential clients include commercial services, events, facilities management, industrial, financial and professional services, public sector, retail and transport. With high  standards of recruitment in place, training and excellent service delivery at every level of business, customers are assured of world-class services.

Backed by a strong management team with a wealth of experience and expertise gained at Polis Diraja Malaysia and the Armed Forces, Semasa Security has successfully secured several internal security services contracts at Menara MRCB, Plaza Alam Sentral and Plaza Sentral. 

Leveraging on its its association with Persatuan Perkhidmatan Kawalan Keselamatan Malaysia (PPKKM), Semasa Security is well poised to tap on a wider range of public and commercial clients that require innovative reliable security services.

Specializes in car park logistics and management, Semasa Parking offers its clients a deep understanding of Malaysian market, superior management systems and highly trained staff.

Semasa Parking’s carefully crafted management strategy includes complimentary consultation services to determine each of its clients’ needs, and involve car park feasibility analysis, the latest and most reliable equipment, a revenue collection system, regulation enforcement and security.
