Energy-Power Network Transmission

Construction of power transmission projects are undertaken by a joint-venture between MRCB and Pemodalan Nasional Berhad. Called Transmission Technology Sdn. Bhd. (TTSB), this premier local turnkey contractor accumulates expertise in engineering, construction and commissioning services to deliver high voltage transmission lines and sub-stations.

500kV Transmission System Development (Phase 1) For Peninsular Malaysia
A 500kV overhead transmission lines and 275kV interconnection transmission lines project completed for national energy provider, Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

275kV Sabah East-West Interconnection Grid
Completed in December 2007 at an estimated cost of RM400 million, this is the largest ever such project in Malaysia. Upon delivery, it has successfully completed the power infrastructure backbone for Sabah. The project involved a massive operation of four sub-stations and the nation’s longest transmission line, bringing electricity to all consumers and industries, from Kota Kinabalu in the West to Sandakan in the East.

Pantai - Salak South GIS Transmission Line
Involves implementation of 275kV hybrid transmission lines and underground cables between Salak South and Pantai substations, capable of transmitting 1,000 MVA power on each circuit via 275kV GIS Switching Station at Salak South to 275kV GIS Extension Bays at Pantai.
