Championing education for the less fortunate
We have been a strong supporter of Yayasan “Promoting Intelligence, Nurturing Talents, Advocating Responsibility” (PINTAR) programme since 2007. PINTAR helps underprivileged children in primary schools improve their academic performance, reaches out through school reward incentives, motivation and teambuilding activities. We engage these schools yearly and since then, we have invested more than RM2 million into the programme.

PINTAR has helped record massive improvements in the results of Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) for these schools since 2007. We have developed several programmes to assist our students for the first two areas through intensive classes, motivational trips, exposure of the students to the various employment avenues available, organised seminars and workshops on academic-related topics, and lessons on attitudes and behaviour.
We are pleased to see the encouraging improvements shown by
students of these schools when 18 students received recognition
including Tokoh Cemerlang MRCB and Tokoh Ko-Kurikulum 2011.
From 519 students that sat for their UPSR, 169 students achieved
5As to 3As results from all our adopted schools. |
