MRCB Contributes
RM3 Million to Upgrade
Mosque Quarters
MRCB spent some RM3 million on reconstructing the workers’
quarters and other facilities at Masjid Jamek Pasir Pelangi,
Johor. The completed quarters were handed over to the Imam of
the mosque on 23 August 2011. |

Brickfields Community Outreach Programme
A mere fence line separates Kuala Lumpur Sentral CBD from the vibrant community of Brickfields. In true neighbourhood spirit, MRCB has taken the initiative to reach out to this local landmark community.
MRCB launched the Brickfields Community Portal in early 2008. Based on key findings from six of the community’s most revered associations – Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), Buddhist Maha Vihara Temple, La Salle Secondary School, Balai Polis Brickfields, The Malaysian Association of the Blind, and the Temple of Fine Arts – the website be a point-of-contact for all residents, authorities and organisations. As the facilitator, Kuala Lumpur Sentral CBD will organise events, activities, forums and other people-oriented programmes to bring the community together.

Gotong-Royong At Teluk Kekek, Pulau Tioman
46 staff participated in this three-day trip. Besides fostering closer relationship with local communities, this project helped to support the community’s environmental sustainability, volunteerism and community-bonding activities. |
