MRCB Contributes RM50,000 to the MAB
In December 2011, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB), contributed RM50,000 to the Malaysian Association of the Blind (MAB) in support of their drives in helping the blind community in Malaysia to live normal, dignified and independent lives within the community.

MRCB handed over the RM50,000 cheque to MAB during the MAB 60th Anniversary Charity Dinner 2011, held at Berjaya Times Hotel.

The Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) is currently conducting a three-month campaign to create awareness of its activities and encourage volunteers and corporate donors. Located in Brickfields and within close proximity to Kuala Lumpur Sentral CBD, MAB started in 1951. It now runs a Library and Resource Centre, a Braille Publishing Unit, and has also developed rehabilitation and training programmes in Malacca and Negri Sembilan, as well as a job-placement unit to assist the blind to find employment.
 
 
 
Landing A Hand To The Fishing Community of Kuala Pahang
On 26 May 2007, MRCB, represented by its former Group MD, Datuk Shahril Ridza Ridzuan, presented a cheque amounting to RM30,000 to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, the then Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia for the Persatuan Nelayan Kuala Pahang's Children's fund at the official launch of the Kuala Pahang Community Centre.

The donation is a part of MRCB's effort in supporting the Government eradicate hardcore poverty, and proactively help the community where the company operates in. MRCB was involved in the building of a wave-breaker on the Kuala Pahang shoreline which will not only help prevent degradation of the shoreline to further erosion, but improve the Kuala Pahang river’s mouth from further silting.

The official launch of the Kuala Pahang Community Centre was attended by both the villagers and school children from the Kuala Pahang area.
